Is there a practical skills test?
No. This course is completed entirely online with a short quiz at the end. If you want or need a hands-on component, A-B-CPR offers hybrid and in-person classes in Southern California.
How long is the certification valid?
Two years from completion, for both the CPR and first aid content.
Is this certification valid in California?
Yes, for non-healthcare jobs and general training purposes. It does not satisfy California EMSA childcare licensing or healthcare BLS requirements, which need in-person skills testing.
